I have been able to effectively combine my Engineering knowledge with a mindset naturally inclined to business orientation and in this, I have been amply rewarded and also achieved a good measure of recognition as well as success in my chosen field of professional endeavour.
It is for this reason that I have had a strong desire to give something of myself back to the Engineering Education that gave me my initial start in life. Hence the establishment of this college and the nurturing of it's growth has been the most emotionally fulfilling of all my activities. I have strived to provide the best of infrastructure, including the latest in teaching aids and well experienced faculty with teaching as well as industrial experience.
The sailor's dream is at the horizon. To impart the knowledge I have garnered over the years, as a Marine Engineer, head of ship building, repairs division at Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam, to promising young Marine Engineers, the desire to share my learning with students made me to join this premier institute.
After sailing for 16 years, resigned from sea life and joined Hindustan Shipyard Ltd as Manager in 1994. After serving ship repairs division for 7 years and ship building division for 15 years in various capacities and as General Manager, instrumental in overseeing construction of ships, attending to sea trials and subsequent handing over of ships to owners.
